IVAO Video Contest - IVAO Special Operation promotional

Dear Members,

IVAO’s Public Relations Department is proud to announce the all new “IVAO Video Contest”. The community has some exceptionally talented members who have produced some amazing videos. IVAO has grown immensely over the last few years and some of this growth can be attributed to IVAO’s participation in Real Life Events in Germany, Brazil, Netherlands, United Kingdom and many more places around the world. Usually one of the biggest attractions in these events is the Promotional Videos.

IVAO’s Special Operation Department is expanding, offering several monthly events in different countries and many games available on the forum. In collaboration with the Public Relations Department, the SO-Department would wish to have a promotional video to represent their activities (events, world tours and divisional tours, SO aircrafts…).

IVAO has no doubt some great promotional videos, all of which are available on http://www.youtube.com/IVAOPublicrelations.

But we are keen to expand this list and we thought what better way than involving our entire membership in this effort.

The IVAO’s Video Contest is an effort to utilize the talent among our members to design IVAO Promotional Videos. Every contest we pick one winner, which will be based on a poll among members. A mega annual poll will be held to pick the top two video’s among the various winners of the bimonthly contest. The annual winners will be awarded the prestigious “IVAO Creativity Award”.

What more, the winning Videos will also be featured in the IVAO Public Relations Channel on You tube and hence your videos could feature in various promotional videos across the world.

The contest duration will be about 2 months, which means there will be 6 contests every year and the theme will be provided by the organizers.

As a tip for the participants, stick to the theme, time and project IVAO’s strengths.

Contest Rules

•   You are allowed to send us only one video per contest
•   Follow the theme proposed at each contest and remember the Videos should be designed to be used to propagate IVAO.
•   The video's duration should not exceed 3 minutes
•   The video should be sent via mail to (Maxime.Esnau@ivao.aero) and (Vybhava.Srinivasan@ivao.aero) by putting the video on http://megaupload.com/ [don’t post the upload links on the forums]
•    Minimum Resolution – 1280 * 720, Aspect Ratio – 16:9 and Video Formats preferred are those accepted by You-tube.
•   By submitting a video, you declare that :
  o   The information contained within your presentation is original work done by you and is not subject to copyright by any other party (airline liveries/scenery objects excluded)
  o   Any identifiable person displayed in your presentation has given you express consent to use their likeliness for promotional purposes
  o   Your name may be used as the creator of the presentation for promotional purposes
  o   The originator claims the media, artwork, and any other information contained therein is solely his/her information and the "Exclusive Copyright" of the media presentation will be the sole property of IVAO.AERO
•   Decision of the judges will be final
